When the order of nature is disrupted, there’s fallout. When wolf populations diminish, elk and bison become overpopulated and the rivers and land suffer. This logic applies to all species and their undeniable purpose in this world.

In honor of the legendary Yellowstone wolf, O-Six, killed by a trophy hunter in 2012, The Smoke Label is dedicated to protecting those without a voice. Our hand-drawn wolf, by the founder’s mother, is modeled after this rare female pack leader who helped teach scientists the importance of the wolf’s presence in the wild.
